Benchmark Enrichment Learning (BEL)Ms.
Hashagen Issaquah School District's BEL Program originated from the need for additional instruction for students not meeting standard in the area of reading. Challenger's BEL Program services grades K through 5 on a pullout basis. This program provides struggling readers additional time to receive small-group, explicit reading instruction in addition to their classroom reading.
