2008 Challenger Science Fair Schedule

Kick-Off

Science Adventures will present “Secret Lab” to the Challenger students on Friday, February 15^th, 2008 and start everyone thinking about fun with Science.  Students will have approximately six weeks from this point to work on projects at home.

To Enter

The first step in entering the Science Fair is to fill out an entry form.  The deadline for entry forms is Friday, March 14^th, 2008.  Entry forms help us arrange the layout of the MPR to accommodate all entries.

The Day of the Fair

The Science Fair will be held on Friday, March 28^th, 2008.  Participants are asked to bring their projects to the Multi-Purpose Room before school starts.  Please allow enough time to set up your project and make it to your classroom before the bell rings.  Judging will begin at 9:00 am.  Students will rotate through the Multi-Purpose Room to talk to the judges about their projects during the morning.  In the afternoon, classes will have the opportunity to walk through and view the projects.

Science Fair Family Night

The entire Challenger community is invited to attend our Science Fair Family night from 6:30-8:00 pm on the night of March 28^th.  All of the wonderful projects will be on display at that time.  There will also be some hands-on science activities for everyone to participate in.  Bring the whole family for some snacks and a great night of fun with Science!
